Adept in designing, installing, maintaining a large / complex computer and telecommunications infrastructure projects according to the organization standards. Provides support for projects deployments, technical compliance, and provides coaching to other junior Staff when necessary.
Oversees technical infrastructure and systems in a wide or complex Area of Responsibility (AoR), specially managing and organizing all ICT systems and services including Network and Telecommunications (WiMAX/P2P/, VSAT satellite, VHF, HF, PBX/Telephony/Unifi communication, VGS tracking, and power backup devices) system based on the organization ICT infrastructure standard setup, procedures and guidelines. Assist in managing a good level of ICT Helpdesk, ICT cabinets, server room operations and ensure an excellent level of internet-related technology and core infrastructure (wired, Wireless, TCP/IP protocols, switching, Routing, SD-WAN, SD-LAN, etc.) setup for its stability reliability and availability. Interacts internally and externally with the organization sites management, employees as well as Global Support levels 2 and 3.
Knowledgeable in managing the required level of ICT Material stocks in the helpdesk and IT stocks warehouses by conducting regular IT stocks physical inventory check and updates the IT inventory (IS) database, accordingly, maintains adequate stock levels for required ICT hardware. Contributes to the definition, IT Equipment documentation and support transition of new standards related to computer and telecommunication infrastructure. Strong leader with exceptional communication and team-building skills with experience in managing a team of IT professionals in a medium and large office setting. Committed to implementing the newest and best technological initiatives to help new and existing organizations and business enterprises to become the best they can be. Furthermore, he is skilled in translating research into the practical solutions that solve problems in the developing world; his research interests intersect industrial experience and theory to present innovative ways of approaching problems in the computing and information technology domain. Based on this guiding principle and passion possessed on disruptive and emerging technological research, he has been undertaking more research in computing and information technology for development (CIT4D) specifically on mobile based, E-learning technology, ecommerce and digital economy, digital health, cybersecurity, big data and predictive analytics, e-waste management, ICT service quality management.
The previous research for his master’s degree was on e-learning management system and students’ performance case study of Juba University in Republic of South Sudan.
